Market driven development of broadband infrastructure in rural areas

چکیده
This paper describes the development of two rural broadband infrastructure initiatives. This development is a bottom-up development of broadband infrastructure. Individuals, businesses and public sector have joined forces and have taken an initiative to develop and operate local broadband infrastructure. The initiatives faces a different set of challenges depending on the local context. The two initiatives is used to illustrating how the infrastructure have been cultivated based on the local installed base and conditions.
